Our Mission

We formed Not 4gotten NY (a 501 (c) 3 charity) to provide year round support to families in crisis. We work with Domestic Violence Families and Sexual Assault victims as they enter and subsequently emerge from shelters by providing the basic necessities they will need during their journey, hoping to make their transition easier.

We also provide assistance to neighborhood police programs and community groups serving “At Risk” families during the holiday season and beyond.

They should always know that there are people who care and that they are Not 4Gotten.

100 percent of your donated dollars are spent on supporting these “at risk” families. Shelters in Saratoga Springs, Kingston, Brooklyn and Queens New York have been touched by our efforts. Additionally we support the Boys and Girls of Patterson, NJ and the 34 precinct of the NYPD Community Affairs Division.

Energy has been spent on programs as well. At the Boys and Girls Club of Patterson and Passaic we sponsored an expansion of their STEM program to accommodate more children. In NYC we provided a team of literacy specialists for a shelter. We also provided scholarships for after school programs, including swim lessons for first time swimmers. With summer around the corner, we are partnering with local Y’s so that shelter kids can participate in camps allowing their mom’s to work, instead of taking time off to mind their children.
